Welcome to Big Bite Donair! We have been serving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine to our community in North Van for the past 8 years.

Our menu is a celebration of the diverse flavors and rich culinary traditions of the region. We take pride in offering a wide range of traditional dishes, from savory meats cooked over open flame to fresh and flavorful vegetarian options. From the classic hummus to the hearty shawarma, our menu has something for everyone. What a delightful experience! I found this gem of a place through Google and was inspired by all the nice reviews! The chicken was so tender! The hummus was out of this world! All the sauces are homemade! I can’t wait to go back and try the Butter Chicken and other delights he makes. It is more of a take out place, however there is one table with two chairs, and my husband and I sat there comfortably eating and chatting with the owner in between customers. It is not fast food…but it is prepared with authenticity.

First time trying this place and for sure it was the first time of many! The food is fresh, he has TONS of home-made hot sauces that are just delicious! He was friendly and very generous. The food is prime quality, we had the Tikka Kebab, mixed donair and a Bolani and they all were to die for. The Tikka came with a rice that has carrot, raisins and cashew in it. If you haven't been to this place you'll become a regular after the first try 😉

Absolute hidden Gem of the north shore, took me 5 years to stop here and I’m sad I waited so long. Don’t come by when in your rush, the owner was so friendly and kind, and puts love in each and every order, he doesn’t want to rush and risk the quality, and it shows. The food, the service, the story and the people were incredible. They care about making sure you love what your eating, and even offer samples to ensure it. Please stop by and enjoy an amazing meal and people.

We stumbled upon this donair shop this afternoon and had the most pleasant and delicious outcome!! The owner was so kind and generous, seeming to truly love what he does, and it really shows in the food that he makes. The chicken wrap was unreal; perfect mix of sauces and flavours. Will be back ASAP for the kebab and the baklava ice cream…
